Today, multi-platinum hip-hop artist and entrepreneur Meek Mill, has announced that his record label “Dream Chasers” has partnered with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

According to rocnation.com where he made the statement, Meek Mill will serve as the President of Dream Chasers where he will take control of the label and build a staff that will spearhead talent acquisition and development, label operations, creative strategy, marketing and legal, among other positions.

Jay Z’s support for Meek Mill’s dream of becoming a Record Label owner has been appreciated by the Hip-hop artist, he said.

“I want to take my experiences in the music industry, use them to find young, hungry talent and open doors for the next generation of artists.”

Meek Mill has other business ventures. He owns part of the shares of Sportswear retail, Lids, and also joined the owners of some established and startup retails.

A leader of Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, on Wednesday urged the Buhari Government to do more to fish out the killers of Mrs Funke Olakunrin.

Adebanjo gave the advice while addressing a news conference in Ikeja.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Olakunrin, daughter of the Leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, was killed on July 12 by unknown gunmen.

Olakunrin, who was shot in her SUV along Sagamu-Ore road in Ondo State, has been buried.

Adebanjo said that the government claimed it was doing its best to unravel the killers, but Afenifere wanted it to do more.

The Afenifere leader said that the police authorities had claimed they had yet to establish any links between those arrested so far with the crime.

Adebanjo said Afenifere and other Nigerians were expecting nothing short of justice for Olakunrin.

He urged the government to intensify efforts to bring her killers to book.

The Afenifere leader said Olakunrin’s murder reinforces the precarious security situation in many parts of the country.

Adebanjo described the situation in the South West as unacceptable, saying it must not be allowed to get out of hand.

The Afenifere leader advocated a return to what he called true federalism, saying the system the country was operating was dysfunctional.

Reno Omokri fired up his Instagram to go off on President Buhari following the released list of Ministerial nominees which according to him had ‘corrupt individuals’ on EFCC’s register.

The former Presidential spokesperson recounted how one of the Ministerial nominees, Timipre Sylva, was prosecuted by another ministerial nominee, Festus Keyamo. The Delta-born Lawyer eventually withdrew from the case involving the former Governor of Bayelsa State.

Symply Tacha, one of the housemates in the ongoing BBNaija reality show has boasted that she will win the show.

One of the most talked about BBNaija housemate, Tacha has expressed confidence that she will win the reality show.

She made it known in a recent diary session with Biggie, Symply Tacha can be heard bragging that she was in the BBNaija 2019 show to win.

Biggie asked how she felt being one of the 17 housemates left in the house and having a one in seventeen chance of winning the show.

She replied:-

Senator Ike Ekweremadu was quite thankful, as his daughter graduated from a foreign University with a degree in media and communications.

Sharing photos from the graduation ceremony of her daughter, Sonia Chinonso Ekweremadu, on Twitter, the Enugu-born lawmaker stated that he is proud of her achievement.

A wild drama occurred at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, as a student of the institution poured a Sniper insecticide on her bunk mate’s mouth and face over a previous misunderstanding.

Prior to the near-poisoning, they had engaged in a fight that was settled by the school’s porter.

Another fight however ensued today, after the victim of the sniper-poisoning fell sick and couldn’t tidy up her corner at the Mozambique Hall hostel.

A heated argument between them, led to pouring of sniper in the mouth of the sick student who has been rushed to the OAU Teaching Hospital.
