BREAKING NEWS!! Gareth Bale Set To Leave Real Madrid For China

Gareth Bale is set to leave Real Madrid to join Chinese club Jiangsu Suning on a three-year deal.

Sources close to Wales’ record goalscorer confirmed reports in Spain that although not yet finalised, a move is “very close.”

Real boss Zinedine Zidane had said Bale, 30, was “very close to leaving” after he was left out of their 3-1 pre-season defeat by Bayern Munich weekend.

Zidane added his exit would be “best for everyone”.

The Welshman came off the bench in Real’s last game to net as they won on penalties after a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the International Champions Cup.

But Frenchman Zidane insisted “nothing had changed” and it could prove to be Bale’s final game for Real.

Bale joined the Spanish club for £85m from Tottenham in 2013 in a world record deal at the time.

GOOD NEWS! Arsenal Stars Kolašinac & Ozil Fine After Car Robbery Attempt

Arsenal footballer Sead Kolašinac has said he and his team-mate are “fine” after the pair were involved in a carjacking attempt by an armed gang.

Both Kolašinac and Mesut Ozil escaped uninjured in the attack in Platts Lane, near Golders Green, north-west London, at about 17:00 BST on Thursday.

Kolašinac can be seen in CCTV footage chasing off one of the carjackers.

Posting a picture on Twitter of himself and Ozil he added the caption: “Think we’re fine.”

In a video that has circulated on social media, full-back Kolašinac, 26, is seen defending himself against two men who are wielding knives.

The Bosnian can be seen jumping out of a vehicle to confront the masked-men who had pulled alongside the car on mopeds.

A witness said he saw two men on mopeds holding roof tiles in their hand chasing the vehicle.

Simon Collins, 46, said:

“I think the intention was to smash the tiles through the wagon window.

“They were proper masked-up, nasty types with no plates on the mopeds.”

Nigerians Love Me Now Because The Rest Of The World Does – Burna Boy

From winning the BET awards for Best International Act and featuring in Beyonce’s Lion King Album, Burna Boy says Nigerians love him now because the rest of the world does.

Talking about his album which will be released tomorrow and his music in an interview with Billboard, the Rivers State-born singer said his plan is to take his music worldwide and also play in a stadium in China. But first, he’ll embark on a 17-date global tour of 1,000- to 3,000-capacity venues starting Aug. 9 in Toronto.

“This has always been my vision,” he says. “Not like I planned it, just that I knew I should stick to doing what I’m doing. It’s almost like climbing steps — you keep going up.”

Also speaking on his local growth, Burna Boy stated that Nigerians only acknowledge him now because the rest of the world does. “Nigerians love me a lot more now because they can see that the whole world likes me, too.

They think I’m something special, but I’m not. I’m just a human whose skill is making music. The way I see it, everyone plays their own role in the world, and no role is more important than the other.”

On becoming one of the richest Nigerian artists, he said, “You are only as rich as where you come from, and Nigeria has a lot of poverty.”

El-Zakzaky: Apostle Suleman Advises Buhari, Laments Killings

El-Zakzaky: Apostle Suleman Advises Buhari, Laments Killings

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministeries, on Thursday urged the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government to dialogue with members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, also known as Shi’ite.

Suleman observed that it was wrong to apply force on a group of people who are emotional over a cause.

Reacting to the clashes between the police and IMN members, the clergyman said use of force against those pushing for a cause would lead to casualties, hence the need for dialogue.

Recall that members of IMN had on Monday attacked emergency point of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.

Several persons were injured while many vehicles belonging to the agency were set ablaze in the bloody attack.

However, Suleman insisted on a government engaging the group in a dialogue.

In a series of tweets, Suleman also lamented the spate of killings and high-level of insecurity across the country.

“In as much as I strongly condemn the activities of Shiites members, I equally advise the fed govt to dialogue with them. When people are emotional over a cause, you don’t go forceful on them.there will be casualties on both sides. Dialogue now, please.

“The level of killings/insecurity in Nigeria is worrisome. No one can deny it’s a reality. its audible to the deaf and visible to the blind, anything doable to curb blood flow is welcome. Dialogue now please,” Suleman tweeted.

US Has Confirmed Nigeria Elections Were Rigged – Atiku

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has commended the U.S for imposing visa restrictions on Nigerians believed to be responsible for, or complicit in, undermining democracy in Nigeria.

Abubakar made the commendation in a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, on Wednesday in Abuja.

The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the February election, commended the U.S for standing with the Nigerian people against undemocratic forces.

He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, saying that the efforts of those that fought for true democracy would not be in vain.

“It seems that day has come. After many months of living in denial, the Buhari regime is now faced with the truth in the form of a US visa ban on politicians who undermined Nigeria’s democracy,” Atiku said.

“Speaking on the ban, the US State Department in a statement by its spokesman, Morgan Ortagus on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, stated that ‘we condemn those whose acts of violence, intimidation, or corruption harmed Nigerians or undermined the democratic process.’

“Speaking further, Mr. Ortagus said, ‘the Secretary of State is imposing visa restrictions on Nigerians believed to be responsible for, or complicit in, undermining democracy in Nigeria.

“These individuals have operated with impunity at the expense of the Nigerian people and undermined democratic principles and human rights.’

“The above statement is a vindication of our position that the 2019 elections were ‘undermined’ by the actions of state actors and institutions.

“We also wish to thank the United States of America for standing with the Nigerian people against those whose desire it is to truncate our democracy.”
